Conversation workspace

SaysMee streams answers into a focused chat workspace and keeps follow-up questions inside the current conversation. Markdown, tables, code blocks, links, and mathematical notation are rendered in the response.

• Create, search, rename, export, share, and delete conversations.
• Edit a prompt or regenerate an answer without creating a separate topic thread.
• Copy, like, dislike, share, delete, or ask SaysMee to read an individual response aloud.
• Continue a long answer when the selected model reaches its current output limit.
• Use a collapsible desktop sidebar and a compact mobile conversation drawer.

Current information and deep research

SaysMee can use web search automatically when a question depends on recent or verifiable information. TheResearch deeply option asks SaysMee to investigate more broadly, compare sources, and organize the result as a sourced report.

Vision, uploads, and Library

Attach images and supported documents from the composer, paste an image from the clipboard, or drag a file onto the chat. Uploaded items appear in Library so you can preview and reuse them later.

• Image understanding with the available vision-capable model.
• Document text extraction and question answering for supported formats.
• Grid and list views, search, sorting, multi-select actions, preview, and delete controls.
• Attach an existing Library item to a new or ongoing conversation.

A progress indicator is used only while a real upload is running. After upload, the file appears as a composer attachment and in Library.

Persistent Projects

A Project is a dedicated workspace for work that needs shared context over time. Each project can contain project instructions, reference files, and multiple independent conversation threads.

• Instructions — describe the role, style, rules, or outcome SaysMee should use in project chats.
• Files — upload reference material once and make it available to conversations in that project.
• Threads — keep separate chats organized without merging their message histories.
• Management — rename, describe, open, archive, or delete project workspaces.

Workspace collaboration

Project owners can invite collaborators with a time-limited link and manage the people who share that workspace. Shared project instructions, files, conversations, and recent activity stay scoped to the project.

• Owner — manages the workspace, invitations, members, permissions, and deletion.
• Editor — contributes to shared work within the permissions granted by the project.
• Viewer — can review shared context without receiving management controls.
• Activity — shows relevant recent workspace changes without exposing unrelated private chats.

Memory and temporary conversations

Memory lets SaysMee reuse durable preferences and helpful personal context in future chats. Saved memories can be viewed and removed, and memory can be cleared from Privacy & data settings.

Temporary chat is the private alternative for one-off work. A temporary conversation is not added to normal history and is not used to create memories.

Learning and NCERT support

Student mode combines study help with planning. SaysMee can explain a topic step by step, create practice questions, review mistakes, track deadlines, record study sessions, and build a realistic workload plan.

• Academic-integrity guidance designed to teach rather than silently complete assessed work.
• NCERT-aware explanations and curriculum mapping for supported Class 9 learning topics.
• Global, privacy-thresholded education trends that never identify a school, class, student, or prompt.

Student-controlled family features

A student can create a time-limited parent invite and control visibility separately for deadlines, study activity, and broad wellbeing trends. Parent views never include private chat transcripts.

• Pause routine sharing without revealing a private reason.
• See a transparency log of what was shared and when.
• Keep wellbeing capped at broad trend level.
• Generate batched parent digests within the student's selected visibility boundaries.

Educator community insights

Educator views describe broad topics that the wider SaysMee learner community is finding difficult. A topic appears only after the configured minimum number of different learners contributes enough anonymous signals.

Notifications

The notification inbox lives in Settings → Notifications. Users can control in-app, browser push, and email channels, along with deadline cadence, weekly digests, quiet hours, timezone, and a daily cap.

• Persistent in-app inbox with unread and archive state.
• Optional browser push, enabled separately on each device.
• Deadline reminders and scheduled weekly summaries.
• Product announcements that respect the product-updates preference.

Email delivery is available only when SaysMee's production sender domain is verified and configured.

Onboarding, consent, and privacy-friendly analytics

Onboarding is resumable and stores only the preferences and reviewed memories that the signed-in user chooses to save. The first-visit consent banner separates essential operation from optional Analytics, Marketing, and Preferences categories.

• Reject optional technologies, accept all, or choose categories independently.
• Change the decision later from Settings → Privacy & data → Cookie preferences.
• Use authentication, chat, uploads, and account controls even when optional categories are rejected.
• Keep prompts, responses, files, memory text, email addresses, and credentials out of analytics events.

Settings, accessibility, and data controls

• Light, dark, or system theme; font size; density; and message width.
• Starter prompt visibility, Enter-to-send behavior, response style, and reduced motion.
• Notification preferences, memory controls, local data export, and education visibility settings.
• Keyboard navigation through the command palette and major chat actions.

Sharing and export

Conversation sharing creates a read-only link. Review a thread before sharing because anyone with its link can read the included messages. Conversation export downloads the current chat in the formats offered by the export dialog, while Settings provides a local preference and memory export.
