Is SaysMee free?

The current public version can be used without a paid subscription. Availability, limits, and future plans may change; the pricing page is the source of truth for any plan introduced later.

Which AI model does SaysMee use?

SaysMee currently offers Qwen 3.6 27B through Groq. It supports text, vision, tool use, and a large context window. The exact model list can change as providers and availability change, so check the selector inside the composer for what is active.

Does SaysMee search the web automatically?

Yes, when a request depends on recent or externally verifiable information SaysMee can search automatically. Enable Research deeply from the plus menu when you want a broader, multi-source report.

Why can an answer still be wrong?

AI responses and web sources can contain errors. SaysMee should be treated as an assistant, not an authority. Check citations and verify important academic, medical, legal, financial, and safety-related information.

What happens when a long answer reaches the response limit?

SaysMee keeps the completed text and shows an option to continue. Use it to resume from the current response instead of repeating the entire request.

Can SaysMee understand images and documents?

Yes. Attach an image or supported document from the composer, paste an image, drag a file into chat, or reuse an item from Library. Very large, encrypted, damaged, or unsupported files may need to be reduced or converted before SaysMee can process them.

What does SaysMee remember?

With memory enabled, SaysMee can save durable preferences and useful personal context for future conversations. You can inspect or clear memory from your profile and Privacy & data settings. Temporary chats do not create memories.

Does changing the topic create another conversation?

No. Follow-up messages stay in the current thread until you explicitly start a new chat. Projects may contain multiple separate threads, but SaysMee does not create one merely because the topic changes.

What is a Project?

A Project groups persistent instructions, files, and independent chat threads for one body of work. Project instructions and available files provide shared context, while each thread keeps its own message history.

Does SaysMee know the latest NCERT content?

SaysMee includes NCERT-aware curriculum guidance, but textbook editions, rationalisations, and chapter names can change. For exact current-book help, upload the official chapter and include the class, subject, title, and edition. SaysMee is not an official NCERT publication.

Does SaysMee collect a student's school or class for educator trends?

No. Education trends are community-wide and privacy-thresholded. They do not include a learner's name, school, class, prompt, transcript, or individual wellbeing signal.

Can parents read student conversations?

No. Parent views are limited to the categories a student has chosen to share, such as deadlines, study activity, or broad wellbeing trends. Chat transcripts and private notes are not available in the parent dashboard.

How do notifications work?

Open Settings → Notifications to manage the in-app inbox, browser push, email, deadline cadence, digests, quiet hours, timezone, and daily cap. Browser push requires permission on each device. Email delivery also requires SaysMee's production sender domain to be configured.

Can I use SaysMee without an account?

Yes, guest mode is available for temporary exploration. Sign in when you want durable conversation history, synced projects, persistent files, account-level preferences, or memory.

Is my data private?

Conversations are private by default. Shared conversation links are created only when you request one. Supabase Row-Level Security isolates user records, and temporary chat avoids normal history and memory. Review the Privacy Policy for the complete data-handling terms.

What happens if someone sends an abusive or unsafe request?

SaysMee normally de-escalates insults and continues helping. Narrow, high-confidence requests that would enable violence, exploitation, credential theft, fraud, doxxing, or targeted harassment receive a safe refusal. A possible self-harm request receives a supportive response focused on immediate human help; SaysMee does not automatically contact a parent, school, police, or emergency service.

Does SaysMee save a flagged request twice?

No. In a signed-in saved chat, the original request already exists as a conversation message. The restricted safety record contains references, category, action, a content hash, and a short identifier-redacted excerpt, not a second full raw prompt. Guest and temporary chats do not create that safety record.

How do I export or delete my data?

Export the current conversation from its conversation menu. Privacy & data settings provide an export of local preferences and memory data. Account deletion is available from the account profile's danger zone and is permanent once confirmed.

Which browsers work best?

Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Microphone input, push notifications, clipboard access, and installation as an app depend on browser and operating-system support.

How do I contact support?

Use the contact page or email support@saysmee.com. Do not include passwords, API keys, or highly sensitive personal information.
